GTM Group acquires the distribution rights of Goaltech company, strengthening its position in the Brazilian Chemical Distribution market

GTM Holdings, a reference in the distribution of chemical products in Latin America, announced an agreement for the acquisition of the distribution rights of Goaltech Produtos Quimicos Ltda for the automotive lubricants market. This movement strengthens the performance of GTM Group in Brazil, where it has been offering solutions to the Lubricants market for more than 13 years.

Founded in 2003, Goaltech Produtos Químicos Ltda operates as a distributor of Chevron Oronite and other suppliers, with a portfolio focused on additives and oils for automotive lubricants. In addition to the additives and lubricants business, Goaltech operates in other markets, such as motorcycle parts and fuel gauge distribution, businesses that are not included in the agreement.

“We believe this agreement will add even more value to our customers, since Goaltech's product lines complement the GTM portfolio in Brazil, mainly with regards to solutions for automotive lubricants, which represent 70% of the lubricants sector. We also believe that we can add to the current Goaltech Principals a strong growth in the Brazilian market”, says Rodrigo Gutierrez, CEO of GTM.

For the lubricants segment in Brazil, GTM distributes solutions from global suppliers such as ACL, Arlanxeo, Braskem, Chevron, Petrobrás, SK Lubricants, Total, Vanderbilt and Riograndense Oil Refinery.
